OSCAR 2021 BEST HAIRSTYLES
For the occasion of the 2021 Oscars Awards, Hollywood shined once again with brightening stars embellished with astonishing looks. This year the world has seen starring very natural hairstyles on the red carpet. But the biggest night for the movie industry couldn’t lack unexpected and surprising looks inspired by the latest seasonal trends. From Zendaya wind-blown long hair to Haley Berry’s baby bob, let’s see the best Oscar 2021 celebrities' hairstyles.
ZENDAYA'S MERMAID HAIR
Zendaya's look embedded the natural, beachy vibe of this year's spring-summer trends. Celebrity hairstylist Larry Sims adorned her super long hair with loose mermaid waves. Her effortless wind-blown hairstyle and yellow Valentino Cutout Dress were inspired by Cher’s 70s look from The Cher Show.
REGINA KING’S BOB
Regina King’s black, blunt bob with a middle part was accomplished by Larry Sims. His creation was inspired by Regina’s Louis Vuitton gown. He wanted to adorn the look with a haircut that wasn’t going to outshine the craftsmanship of the dress and, at the same time, showcased Regina’s neckline. For this haircut, we used Flawless hair products by Gabrielle Union and Tangle Teezer.
VIOLA DAVIS’S CURLS
Viola Davis’s hairstylist Jamika Wilson has made history. Together with hair department lead Mia Neal and makeup artist Sergio Lopez-Rivera, she won the Oscar for Best Makeup and Hairstyling. A historic victory since Wilson and Neal is the first black woman to win in this category. Jamika demonstrated her talent on the set of Ma Rainey's Black Bottom but also with Davis’s red carpet look. She made Viola’s beautiful curly hair stand out: shiny and bouncy on top with slicked side effects obtained with MATRIX products.
CELESTE WAITE’S MIDDLE PART
Talking about Black excellence, British singer and songwriter Celeste Waite conquered the red carpet with her mid-parted afro hairstyle. Her natural look was achieved by Nakia Rachon and Dionna using Oribe haircare.
The 1920 Amanda Seyfried’s look is a blast from the Hollywood past. Hairstylist Renato Compara swooped her hair on one side into a sleek but wavy bang worn with absolute elegance and a glamorous red Armani gown!
H.E.R.’S PURPLE VIBE
Framed by a gorgeous purple gown by Dundas, her stunning endless locks with the baby hair swirl coming out of her hooded cape are absolutely breathless. The American singer's hairstyle by Nina Monique and her purple look was a tribute to Price’s 1985 Oscar outfit.
ANDRA DAY’S CURLY BANG
Andra Day dominated the bang trend with this beautifully executed bang by Tony Medina. Her hair collected in a high bun coupled with metallic gold Vera Wang Haute Couture cutout dress made her look “jaw-dropping”!
MARGOT ROBBIE'S PONYTAIL
A loose ponytail is what took to hairstylist Bryce Scarlett to enhance the stunning natural beauty of Margot Robbie’s visage framed by a gorgeous bang. Obsessed!
HALLE BERRY'S BABY BOB
One of the most discussed hairstyles of the 2021 Oscars was Halle Berry’s baby bob by hairstylist Sara Seward.
Using Oribe and Leonor Greyl hair products, the Halle Berry updo aroused strong reactions on the web. But Berry mastered the art of wearing a bob and laughing about it, confirming one of the most glamorous 2021 haircut trends. Good job!
